Pulmonary Care
Our practice delivers a comprehensive treatment plan for a variety of pulmonary diseases. Our asthma program insures your asthma is controlled whether it is with inhalers or immunotherapy injections and if need be we will evaluate for thermoplasty. We also treat patients with COPD, Respiratory Tract Infection, Pulmonary Hypertension, Interstitial Lung Disease, Lung cancer, and Sarcoidosis. We try to make the proper diagnosis to establish the best treatment for you.
Sleep Therapy
Our board certified sleep physicians treat a variety of sleep disorders including sleep apnea, insomnia, restless leg syndrome, and narcolepsy.
In office we provide CPAP machines and supplies to eligible patients with obstructive sleep apnea. We carry a variety of companies from Resmed, Fisher & Paykel, and Respironics to better suit our patient's needs. Once insurance is verified our physicians and respiratory therapist will carefully fit patients for a CPAP machine and mask that will help them be compliant with therapy. Our office is capable of downloading your data and therapy reports for physician review and submitting to insurance as needed
Robotic-Assisted Bronchoscopy
Lung cancer is the #1 cancer killer - claiming more victimes each year than breast, colon and prostate cancers combined.It is difficult to diagnose safely and reliably in early stages. When traditional, manual bronchoscopy is used, it often does not lead to a diagnosis.
The MONARCH Platform using Robotic-Assisted Bronchoscopy can potentially aid in the diagnosisfo small hard-to reach lung modules. It provides advanced precision and control that comes from robotic technology in one minimally invasive procedure.
Respiratory Therapy
Chest Physician Consultants has a full time Respiratory Therapist who performs pulmonary function testing and 6 minute walk tests for oxygen qualification as well as assist in continuous positive airway pressure device set up and mask fittings. Having a respiratory therapist in office helps physicians and patients by conveniently taking the stress off of patients by allowing them to come to one location for all testing rather than sending them to multiple locations.
Procedures
In an outpatient hospital setting our physicians perform state of the art procedures right here in NWI allowing patients to stay local rather than traveling to larger Universities. These procedures include the following: Navigational Bronchoscopy, Ultrasound guided Endobronchial Biopsies, Thermoplasty, Thoracentesis, Pleurx Catheter, and Polysomnography.
Allergy Testing
Our office has partnered with United Allergy Services to offer in-office environmental and food allergy testing and immunotherapy.
